Once upon a time, in a far far away land...

... there were 8 Tots who wanted to hear some stories.

Sidhu (Tara Boys) telling stories to Farhaan and Manish at Tara Tots
They all piled into the castle's own private carriage, and off they went to the land of the Gruffalo.

In the Caterpillar Library, completely captivated, they learnt about how a cunning little mouse tricked the montrous Gruffalo into running away...

Like children all over the world, the Tots quickly fall into the Gruffalo's universe

After each story, an arts and crafts sessions turns the story into reality - the little ones made masks of the gruffalo, except that their gruffalos are "nice monsters", according to Vanshika!

Manish's Gruffalo is a bit more colourful than the rest!
Is this a gruffalo or a well-hidden Deepika?

Back to school

Deepika (Tara Tots)
As the summer (not so) slowly made its way to Delhi, the Boys and Tots went back to school on 1st April. Vishal, who arrived at Tara Boys 6 months ago, had his very first day of school at Saint Mary's in class 1. Deepika, from the Tots Home is now a 'prep' in her last year of Kindergarten at Santa Maria school.

Lokesh (Tara Boys) keeping his cool in case one of his girlfriends is in the area...

and Sameer (Tara Boys) who
doesn't have these kinds of social obligations!

Vishal (Tara Boys) who worked so hard to earn his smart new uniform!

Congratulations to Hussain, Shlok, Roshan and Raj for completing their first two weeks of school! We say good luck to their professors...

Black belts in the making

You may not realise it but Tara Boys is actually a training camp for mujahidins. "Because we have to save the Earth from the Badies" explain the little ones in all seriousness. On Tuesday night, judo was on the menu.

Warming up... and off they go!

We told you... it's practically military! Little Shalu find the whole exercise particularly amusing.

The sweaty heros after their training. Saving the Earth is a serious matter!

Oh my Holi!

The tots and the boys celebrated Holi in Lodhi garden this year, and finished the day looking like Elmer the Elephant had run in the wash...!
