It is true that players benefit physically, socially and emotionally from playing football (soccer). The intensity and range of movements involved in the game, including kicks, twists, turns and sprints, provide better overall exercise. To this end our boys are playing football under the guidance of qualified coach with zeal & enthusiasm. During first practice session at St Mary’s, boys were bit perplexed when they can’t get something right. But they eventually started to follow the instructions with perseverance, as they want to improve their ability as a player. They want to learn & instill timeless qualities of leadership, responsibility, perseverance & team work by playing this sport. With the presence of qualified coach who is rendering his services for one & a half hour session on Sunday’s & the availability of some basic practice stuff like uniforms, balls, cones, markers, sticks boys are super excited to learn good football & to participate in tournaments in different parts of Delhi. Besides they are eager to have these coaching sessions twice a week so that they can master this beautiful game in short period of time. Post written by Amin, Child Welfare Officer for Tara Boys
